Obituary of Curtis F. Stebbins Curtis F. Stebbins Of Gasport passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Medina Memorial Healthcare System.
Curtis was born in Haverhill, New Hampshire on September 27, 1937 son of the late Fernald and Evelyn (McKeage) Stebbins.
He was employed at Harrison Radiator Division retiring in l998.
Mr. Stebbins served in the US Army from 1955 to 1958 and was a member of the Gasport Lions Club, Medina Moose and Lockport Elks Club.
Curtis was predeceased by three sons Steven Stebbins, Gary Stebbins and Michael Stebbins and a brother Raymond Stebbins.
He is survived by a daughter Valerie (Robert) Orr of Kansas, his long time companion Florence Schafer and her sons Charles Schafer, Craig Schafer and Rick Schafer, one stepson Jeff Blake of Lockport, four grandchildren Joanna Childres of Oklahoma, Robert Orr and Curtis Orr both of Kansas and Cody Blake of Lockport.
Also surviving are two sisters Clara Ellison and Sharon Johnson both of Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM.with the Rev. Rodney Klinzing officiating.
Burial will be in Royalton Mt. Ridge Cemetery.
