Obituary of Cynthia A. Kiernan (Albion) Cynthia A. Kiernan age 77 died August 12, 2016 at Unity Hospital following a long illness. She was born June 13, 1939 in Albion, a daughter of the late Stanley and Regina (Slizewski) Noreck and had lived in this area most of her life. Cynthia was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church and was a lifetime member of the St. Mary’s Athletic Club. She enjoyed playing cards, games, puzzles, golfing and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband John J. Kiernan and her brother David “Moe” Noreck. She is survived by her daughters Dorene (Ron) Ballard of Kendall and Kris (Bobby) Canne of Albion; granddaughter Mackenzie; her sisters, Jean Bailey of Albion, Patricia (John) Foote of Albion; special niece Tara Mays as well as several other nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Father Dick for his kindness. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Tuesday 4:00pm-8:00pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 9:30am at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
