Obituary of Damon Scott Carter Albion: Damon Scott Carter passed away suddenly July 29, 2017. Damon was born August 14, 2016 in Rochester a son of Shelby Smith and Cody Carter. In addition to his parents, Damon is survived by his brother, Oliver Carter and sister, Athena Haenle, maternal grandparents, Carl (Jennifer) Smith, Belle Smith; paternal grandparents, Julie (Linda Suhr) Solis; great-grandparents, Donald Smith, Patricia Thiel, Arlouine Smith, Cecil (Donnie) Carter, Ruth (Doug) Lake; uncles, Mateo Solis and Alex Smith; aunts, Stephanie Hinshaw and Jaida Solis; great-aunts, Amy Carter and Lisa Collins; great-uncle, Stephen Carter; special friends, Kayla and Melinda Breeze and Holden and Hunter Carter. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave, Albion, Thursday August 3, from 4:00-7:00. Damon’s graveside service will be held on Friday at 10:00am in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Elba.
