Daniel Glassner

Obituary of Daniel Glassner (Albion) Daniel C. Glassner age 61, died November 2, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 30, 1951 in Lockport, a son of the late Jacob and Dorothy (Yaeger) Glassner and had lived in this area all of his life. Dan was a member of Holy Family Parish and had also served on the board for the Cornell Cooperative Extension. He had worked as an Engineer for Verizon for many years and also had his own Lawn Mowing Business. Dan was an avid golfer and hunter. He is survived by his loving wife Deborah of 39 years; his children Karrie (Kyle) Dineen of Albion, Tim (Brooke) Glassner of Jasper FL, Margaret Glassner of Albion; grandchildren Jordan Jacobs and Conner Downing; sisters Barbara (Jim) Berg of FL, Molly Gardner of Albion, Cindy Piedimonte of Holley, Susie (Jim) Fraser of TX, Judy (Michael) Langley of FL, Laurie (Elroy) Moffett of Albion, Kathy (Dale) Brooks of Albion; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Tuesday November 5th 4-8pm. His Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans or to Wilmot Cancer Center, University of Rochester Medical Center, 601 Elmwood Ave. Box 704, Rochester NY 14642. Visitation
