Daniel Hausman

Obituary of Daniel Hausman Dan P. Hausman, age 59 of Gasport, entered into rest on Friday, November 11, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born February 4, 1957 in Lockport, Daniel is the son on the late: Duane and Dorinne (Leoschke) Hausman. Dan is a 1975 graduate of Royalton-Hartland School District and also a graduate of Alfred State College. He married Linda July 15, 2002 in Jamaica. He is survived by his loving wife: Linda, and children: Jessica Rohalla, Daniel E. Hausman, and Kayt (Ryan) Davidson as well as step-children: Stephen (Danielle) Baes and Nicholas Baes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Breann, Chloe, Dylan, Charlie, Lennon, James and Evelyn as well as a grandpuppy: Saphira. Also survived by a brother: Dayton (Nancy) and a sister, Denise as well as several nieces and nephews. Dan was currently employed by New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control. He was a life member of Terry’s Corners Volunteer Fire Company, a past president of the Niagara County Chief’s Association, member of the Western New York Volunteer Fireman’s Association, member of the Terry’s Corners/Wolcottsville Exempt Association and a member of the Elks 41. Dan liked camping with family and friends, attending NASCAR races, taking tropical vacations with his wife and most of all, he enjoyed friends stopping by his garage for a drink. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 2 – 6 pm.
