Obituary of Danny O. Moore Clarendon: With his larger-than-life personality and boisterous laugh, Danny “Dan” “Papa” Moore passed peacefully on May 15, 2021 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born December 5, 1956 in Brockport to the late Lewis and Arlene (VanOrden) Moore. Danny was immersed in the community and neighborhood of each place he lived. Selfless and strong, the world could rely on Dan for every need no matter how small and would work on anything that needed to be fixed. Danny had a way of telling a story and giving his time and attention to all who asked that of him. He was indeed, the hardest worker you’ve ever met. His zest for life pushed him to always be learning something new and meeting new friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Danny is survived by his wife, Kimberly, children, Randy (Donna) Moore, Andrea (Mike) Geglia, step-daughter, Kristie Yager,grandchildren, Tyler, Lily, Octavia, Penelope, Joseph, siblings, Sue (David) Quarantello, Charles (Cindy) Moore, Paul (Holly) Moore, loyal four-legged companion, Missy, mother of his children, Rosemary Steffen, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Danny’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Route 31 Holley, NY 14470 on Thursday, May 20th from 4:00-7:00pm. His funeral service will be held at the Disciples United Methodist Church 4410 Holley Byron Road Holley, NY 14470 on Friday at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Please note that face masks are required at the funeral home and the church.
