Obituary of David R. Owens David R. Owens of Holley formerly of West Haven, CT, passed away unexpectedly on October 9, 2017 at the age of 63 at Unity Hospital in Rochester. He was born September 19, 1954 in New Haven, CT to the late Ray and Shirley (Osborn) Owens. David enjoyed spending his time fishing and hunting. He loved taking care of people with disabilities and it was something he did for over 15 years. He was very good at breaking the tension in the room and great at making people smile. David was a loving husband, great father, caring grandfather and great-grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Paul Owens. David is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Shirley, children, Terry (Sue) Patterson, Megan Owens, brother, Mark (Dotty) Owens, grandchildren, Jesse Patterson, Meghan Clark, Chloe Dunn, great-granddaughter, Cora Clark, aunt Bernice Johnson and nephew Mark. There are no prior calling hours. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
