David M. Ricci, age 82, died March 23, 2025. He was born February 26, 1943 in Albion to Peter(Sr.) and Rose (Monacelli) Ricci and had lived in Rochester for most of his life.
David was a member of the National Guard, and had worked as a Construction Engineer for the NYS DOT for many years. He was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church (Holy Family Parish) and was a recipient of a heart transplant in 1995. David enjoyed his monthly poker club with his buddies and especially spending time with his grandson Brandon. Mr. Ricci was predeceased by his siblings: Henrietta D’Amico, Eloise Persia, Peter Ricci, Marie (Harry) Peruzzini and Angelo Ricci.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Marilyn, his son: Matthew Ricci of NC, his daughter: Allyson (Martin Roth) Ricci, his sister: Betty (Harry “Mickey”) Tower of Medina, 4 grandchildren: Nathan, Carter, Brandon and Casey as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Parish-Albion, FRIDAY APRIL 25th beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: The Cleveland Clinic, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH, 44195. David’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.
