Obituary of David Schuth (Greece/Kendall) David H. "Opa" Schuth, age 93 of Greece, died peacefully April 21, 2013 at his son's home in Kendall. David was born in Rochester March 5, 1920 and had lived in this area his entire life. Mr. Schuth was a United States Air Force Veteran of WWII and was the recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a retiree of Rochester Gas and Electric and was a man who could fix anything. A humble man with a huge heart, Opa was a long-time and faithful member of the Lakeview Community Church Reformed. He was a kind person who exemplified the meaning of the word gentleman. Mr. Schuth was predeceased by his wife Louise. He is survived by his son: Daniel (Marietta) Schuth of Kendall, his grandchildren: David M. (Cathy Lofthouse) Schuth of Kendall, Lisa (David) Stenshorn of Kendall, Aleka (Scott) Schmidt of Medina, great grandchildren: Michael, Matthew and Nicholas Schuth, Melinda and Jennifer Stenshorn, Hayley and Danielle Schmidt, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. The Family received friends at the Arndt Funeral Home in Rochester on Tuesday April 23rd and his Funeral Service was held at the Lakeview Community Church Reformed on Wednesday April 24th. His burial with Military Honors was held at Mt. Hope Cemetery on Thursday April 25th.
