David L. Spanton

Albion:  David L. Spanton, 69, passed away May 15, 2022 following a long illness.  He was born November 14, 1952 in Albion, NY a son of the late William and Carol (Salisbury) Spanton. David was a graduate of Albion High School, class of 1970.  He was a member of the Rochester Offshore Powerboat Association and was a 30 plus year employee of St. Gobain.  David was very outgoing and enjoyed fixing your small engine.  He enjoyed boating, antique cars, mud truck racing but most of all loved spending time with his family, especially his wife Dawn.

He is survived by his loving wife Dawn (Bouchard) Spanton; step-children, Benjamin and Emma Bouchard; siblings, Ronald (Deborah) Spanton, Karl Spanton, James Spanton, Daniel Spanton and Elaine (Jonathan) Perkins; aunts and several nieces, nephews, cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 21 W. Avenue Albion, on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pm.  David’s funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 11:00am.  Interment will be in Bates Road Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Flight, 100 Amherst Villa Road, Buffalo, NY 14225
