Debra J. Albertson, age 58 of West State Street, died 12/13/2016 at her residence. She was born in Spencerport 10/27/1958 to John and Viola Bedard and had lived in this area all of her life. Debra was an active member of the Ridgeway Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at many facilities including The Villages of Orleans, Orchard Manor Nursing Home and Medina Memorial Hospital-North Wing. She was an avid collector of figurines, in particular angels. She also enjoyed playing B.I.N.G.O., loved her animals and was always going out of her way to help someone in need. Mrs. Albertson was predeceased by her daughter Tonia Akers, and her brothers: John Bedard and Joe Bedard. She is survived by her husband Frank, children: Debbie, Vickie, Jerry, Lee, Louise, and George Albertson, her sister: Gail Akers, 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews as well as her two fur-babies: Taco and Tater Tot. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes Inc., 21 West Avenue-Albion, SATURDAY from 1-2 where her Funeral Service will be held following visitation at 2 p.m. Interment will be private in Boxwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ridgeway Fire Department, 11392 Ridge Rd., Medina, NY, 14103.
