Obituary of Debra Kay Babcock Gasport: Debra Kay (Shepheard) Babcock passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on December 16, 2020. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Patricia Shepheard and was born July 11, 1962. Debbie was born in Gasport and has lived there with her husband, Brett, of 38 years, her entire life. She retired from the Dale Associations after 18 years of service. Debbie was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the Gasport Beautification, Dale Association and the Medina Senior Center. Donations may be made in memory of Debbie to these organizations. Debbie loved baking, gardening, playing cards, hanging with her friends, but her biggest joy was her family. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Brett, son Wade (Jenn Parker) and her beautiful brand-new grandson, Rhett. Mother-in-law Georgia Babcock, sisters Kelly Shaw, Wendy (Allen) McKee and Carrie (Doug) Bertrand. In-laws Mike (Sue) Babcock, Linda (Jim) Sowaskie, Joel (Carol) Babcock and Bart (Jodi Oliver) Babcock. Her nieces and nephews Shannon (Andy) Kloc, Darla (Paul) Burke, Michael (Jill) McCabe, Jared Mckee, Robbie Allen, TJ Bertrand, Laura (Stephen) Oakes, Matt (Megan) Bertrand, Shawn Sowaski, Jamie (Jay) VanHorn, Laurie Udell, Julie (Anthony) Raduns, Jana Babcock, Marissa Babcock, Joel (Vandra Ruppel) Babcock, Beau Babcock and Brooklyn Babcock. Her great nieces and nephews Stefen Sowaskie, Ryan and Ethan VanHorn, Brendon Hess, Rileigh McCabe, Aidan and Fallyn Mescal, Taylor and Alex Kloc, Danni Raduns, Parker and Lincoln Burke, Adrien Oakes, Aidan, Nora and Theo Bertrand and Noel and Michael Udell.
