Obituary of Debra D. Palisano .Debra D . Palisano of Middleport went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 23, 2011.
Mrs. Palisano was born in Lockport, NY on April 11, 1947 daughter of the late Pershing and Jean (Tompkinson) West.
She graduated from Newfane Central School and has lived in Middleport since l976.
She and her husband Frank C. Palisano were married March 25, 1967.
She was employed as a substitute teacher for the Royalton-Hartland Central School and she was also a Home Health aid in Niagara County.
She enjoyed her family and was a devoted Mother, Nani and Great Grandmother and she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She enjoyed her family from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Vermont Green Mountains and everywhere in between.
She loved to travel, enjoyed E-Bay and she loved to be by the water.
She is survived by her husband Frank C. Palisano, her children Christina (Christopher) Ball of Gasport, Michelle Palisano (Heath) Schubert of California, Frank (Allison) Palisano Jr. of Vermont and Angela (Andrew) Boyce of Albion.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren Anthony Vorholzer, Jeffrey Vorholzer, Jonathan Vorholzer, Joseph Palisano, Zoe Palisano, Ani Palisano, Fiona Palisano, Ella Palisano, Drew Boyce and Gavin Boyce., two great grandchildren Hannah Vorholzer and Anthony Vorholzer.
a sister Denise Wertman of Pendleton and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. David Horner officiating.
Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery, Lockport, NY.
Memorials to Roswell Park Memorial Institute or Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the Palisano family.
