Obituary of Delbert E. Lonnen (Albion) Delbert “Del” E. Lonnen age 73 died unexpectedly at his home on March 18, 2019. He was born June 15, 1945 in Albion, a son of the late Walter and Saloma (Seeley) Lonnen and had lived in this area all of his life. Del was a very active member of the Victory Baptist Church. He retired from Riccelli Enterprises where he drove truck for many years. Del enjoyed jig saw puzzles, spending time on the water fishing but most importantly he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was predeceased by his brother Billy; his grandson Brian; granddaughter Heather and his brother-in-law Leo Spohr. Del is survived by his wife of 32 years, Gloria; his sons Dan (Lisa) Lonnen of Waterport, Alex “Pete” (Linda) Lonnen of Middleport, Brian (Nikki) Lonnen of Carlton, Scott Lonnen of Albion; step-sons Joseph (Mary Pat) Brennan of Buffalo, Patrick (Jennifer) Brennan of Spencerport; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his sisters Rose (Ernest) Stephens, Mary Ann (John) Buckland, Leona (Al) Quackenbush, Alice Miller; brothers George (Cindy) Lonnen, Ken (Linda) Lonnen, Harry “Gene” Lonnen; sisters-in-law Fran Spohr, Barbara (Darryl) Szklany as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. on Friday March 22nd from 3-6pm where his Funeral Service will follow at 6:00pm.
