Diane E. Bechteler

Obituary of Diane E. Bechteler Albion: Diane E. Bechteler, 66, passed away April 26, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Diane was born December 26, 1950 in Albion a daughter of the late LeVere and Arlene (Morrish) Cook. She had lived in this area all of her life and was a graduate of Albion High School, class of 1969. Diane was employed for 25 years at Community Action of Orleans and Genesee as a Payroll and Benefits Administrator, retiring in 2016. Diane enjoyed reading, taking rides, playing games on her I Pad and absolutely loved family time. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Kevin Homer. Diane is survived by her husband of 46 years, David; daughters, Lynn Bechteler-Homer and Amy (Tom Couch) Bechteler; granddaughters, Brittany (Joe Danser) Homer and Jocelyn (Santiago Deluna) Homer; great-granddaughters, Brooklynn and Allison Danser; her brother, Terry (Brenda) Cook; nieces and nephews, Shawn (Marsha) Cook, Michele Cook, Adam Cook and Tammy Cook. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Tuesday May 2, from 1:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00. Private interment in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
