Obituary of Dicksie A. Rauber Lockport: Dicksie A. “Dixie” Rauber, age 59, after a brave battle with cancer on April 5, 2020. She was born October 9, 1960 to Mylen and Dicksie (Collar) Daugherty. Dixie loved her dog Shaggy and all of her birds, but had a special and adoring love for her family. She will be missed by everyone she touched and will always be remembered for her kindness and her laugh. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her grandparents, Bertha and Richard, and her uncle, John, and aunt, Sally Collar. Dixie is survived by her sons, Dennis (Sharon Lee Chase) Zimmerman, Shawn, Jeremy, husband, Kenny, mother, Dicksie, mother-in-law, Joanne Marshall, siblings, Kathleen (José) Rubalcaba, Mylen “Buddy” Daugherty, Marie (Richard Wendt) Rairie, Matthew (Amanda) Daugherty, Michael (Ashley) Daugherty, grandchildren, Ian Meier, Mason Zimmerman, Eli Zimmerman, Nathan Chase-Krantz, as well as, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In appreciation for the great love and care that Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center gave to Dixie, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, P. O.
