Obituary of Dominic Mignano Dominic “Poppy” “Mango” Mignano age 96, passed away on Saturday December 24, 2016 at the Villages of Orleans. He was born September 23, 1920 in Hulberton, a son of the late Phillip and Jennie Mignano and had lived in this area all of his life. Mango’s two passions in life were farming and truck driving. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ann in 2004; grandson Greg; brothers Phillip, James, Sullivan, John, Joseph, Simon; sisters Dena, Frances, Virginia, Anna. He is survived by his daughters Linda (Francis) Comden of Webster, Sandy (James) Recco of Albion; grandchildren David (Pam) Karpenko, Jeffrey Karpenko, Douglas (Cathie) Karpenko, Lori Recco, Kevin (Abby) Comden, David (Dawn) Comden, Vicki Comden; great-grandchildren C.J., Sharon, Katie, Christopher, Ken, Jon, Nick, Jo, Matt, Phillip, Susie, Alexis, Hannah, Brandon, Kelly, Carter, Cole; 2 great-great-grandchildren Ryan and Emma; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Friday December 30th 4-7pm where his Funeral Service will follow at 7pm. Burial will be in Transit Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans.
