Obituary of Donald “Duck” DuBois Sr. Donald "Duck" DuBois, Sr., Born on August 13, 1958 at Lockport Memorial Hospital passed May 30th, 2017 while at Buffalo General Hospital. Donald was the son of the late Robert DuBois and Meryl (Hiedemann) Newman and stepson of Ronald Newman Sr. Donald is survived by his beloved uncle Duke (Lewis DuBois) and his 3 children: Tab(Stuart) DuBois, Don (Buffy) DuBois, Jr., Susan (Frank) Karns; his fur baby, Buddy Lee, and 10 Grandchildren. Don is survived by brothers and sisters: Bob DuBois, Norm (Sherry) DuBois, Pat DuBois, Debbie Newman, Butch(Tina) Newman, Loren DuBois, sister-in-Law, Lori DuBois and pre-deceased by brother, Gary DuBois. Donald liked cars and car shows, doing yard work, loved playing with his grandchildren and had a passion for dogs. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm and 4-6pm on Sunday, June 4th 2017 at the Bates, Wallace, and Heath Funeral Home located at 38 State Street in Middleport, NY. A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 5th 2017, at Hartland Central Cemetery on Ridge Road in Hartland, NY. The family asks that anyone attending visitation or services please dress comfortably and casually as that is what Don would have preferred.
