Donald G. Ferris Jr.

Medina:  Donald G. Ferris Jr., 88, passed away May 23, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born August 21, 1933 in Kendall a son of the late Donald and Martha (Fluegel) Ferris.  Mr. Ferris served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  Donald was employed by the Village of Medina as a Heavy Equipment Operator for almost years, retiring in 1991.  He was a former member of the Ridgeway Fire Co. and volunteered at the Joint Veterans Service Council, driving veterans to their appointments.  He was an avid camper, Sabres fan, and loved tinkering and spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer Dart.  Donald is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Pat; daughters, Stephanie Ferris and Dianna Ferris; son-in-law, Darrell Dart; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward (Mary Jane) Ferris, David (Tamara) Ferris and Greg (Nancy) Ferris; nieces, nephews, cousins.

No prior calling.  Donald’s graveside service with military honors at Mt. Albion Cemetery will be held Saturday August 13, at 1:00pm,
