Obituary of Donald Burton Kempton Donald Burton Kempton, age 85, entered into rest at his home on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Born October 8, 1930 in Middleport, Donald is the son of the late: Burton and Edna (Scarborough) Kempton. Donald is survived by his wife of 54 years: Marie (Hass) Kempton; a dear son: Gregory R. Kempton and his precious grandchildren: Gregory D. (Anna) Kempton and Megan Kempton. Brother of: Mary (Joseph) Deptula, Sue (Gary) Gursling and Paul Kempton. Brother-in-law of: Phyllis MacKay and Joyce Hass. Donald is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Donald served his country in the US Army at Fort Hood, Texas from 1951 until 1953. He worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport as a press operator until retiring in 1993 after 42 years. Donald enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and renovating homes. There will be no prior visitation. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Niagara Hospice.
