Obituary of Donna J. Davis Albion: Donna J. Davis, 65, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 2, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Donna was born October 1, 1951 in Albion, a daughter of the late Franklin and June (Maibaum) Gates. Donna was a 1970 graduate of Albion High School. Donna was very family oriented with a special love for her kids and dogs and will be remembered for her sweetness and kindness. She is the devoted wife of Edward; loving mother to John (Vanessa) L’Hommedieu and Charles (Christina) L’Hommedieu; beloved grandmother to Evan, Ella and Benjamin; cherished sister to David (Donna) Gates and William (Leslie) Gates; adoring nieces, Leah and Jessica; special canine companions, Lenny and Dixie and loving cousin, George Irvine. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Wednesday June 7, from 6:00-7:00, immediately followed by her funeral service at 7:00.
