Donna Yiengst

Albion: Donna (Forder) Yiengst, age 59, passed away May 9, 2023 after a long battle of being ill. She was born February 7, 1964 to Thomas and Edith Forder and lived in this area all her life.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, daughter Mackenzie (Kyle Metz) DeCarlo, stepdaughters, Rebecca (John) Clinkhammer and Jennifer Yiengst. She is also survived by her sisters, Susan (Dave) Polosto, Shirley Narburgh, Sandy Smith, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and her bloodhound, Molly.

Donna worked for over 30 years for the Orleans County Nursing Home before she retired. She also worked as a hairdresser for over 10 years and then for Meals on Wheels. “Thank you to all my friends over the years that she played softball, volleyball and bowled with, we did have fun”. Donna went to school in Orlando for travel and tourism and had so much fun. She also went to Continental School of Beauty and worked at Hair Fantasy and the VA Nursing Home.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 1:00-4:00pm at the Jr. Wilson Sportsman Club 3875 Bates Rd. Medina, NY 14103.
