Obituary of Doris A. Bruski Albion: Doris A. (Smith) Bruski, age 73, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on November 23, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 5, 1943 in Albion to the late James W. Smith and Dorothy E. (Chick-Dickinson). Doris was a big advocate for animals of all kinds. She founded P.A.W.S in 1980 and prior to that she showed her love for saving animals by using her own home as a sanctuary. She worked for Tillman’s Village Inn for 47 years and was the recipient of the “New York State Front of House Employee of the Year” during her time there. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her 1st husband, Bob Riviere and 2nd husband, Raymond Bruski. Doris is survived by her sister Sandra (fiancé Bob Dibble) Hilger, nephew Thaddeus (Nikkia) Grzywacz, niece Tammy (John) Parada, step-children Melissa Vaouli, Bonnie Bruski, Brian Bruski, the entire Tillman’s Village Inn family and many special friends. There are no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday November 28th at 10:00AM at Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph’s Church, Park St. Albion.
