Dorothy N. Kinne

Obituary of Dorothy N. Kinne Dorothy N. (Cooper) Kinne, 95, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Rex Nursing Care Center in Raleigh, NC. She was born on August 8, 1921, in the Town of Hartland, to Scott and Ida Cooper.
After 30 years of service, Dorothy retired from Harrison Radiator in Lockport. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Dorothy will be remembered as a kind hearted, generous, and fun-loving woman. She took delight in doing word search puzzles, playing bingo and macramé. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Dennis) Vanill, Beverly Rosenbeck, Ronald (Pat) Kinne, Susan Collings, Keith (Kim) Kinne, and Scott (Patty) Kinne. She was a loving grandmother to Dennis (Beth Anne) Vanill, Andrea Vanill, Casey (Keith) Taylor, Amy (Jeremy) Kirk, Adam (Andrea) Kinne, Michael (Cassie) Kinne, James (Kali) Collings, Travis (Kim) Kinne, Stacy Kinne and Brittany (Jim) Vinovrski. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, who died in 1997. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter Sherrie Parker and siblings, Clayton, Clifford, Benjamin, Franklin, La Verne, Marjorie, Marian, Florence, twin brother Donald and Elsie.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport, on Friday, September 16th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 11 am in Hartland Central Cemetery.
