Obituary of Dorothy Lombardi (Kent)
Dorothy J. Lombardi, age 76 formerly of Bridge Road, died 9/10/1913 in The Villages of Orleans following a brief illness. She was born 3/6/1937 in Rochester to George and Catherine Heidemann. Mrs. Lombardi was a graduate of Cornell University and taught at a special school for pregnant women in Harlem for many years before returning to the Kent area over 15 years ago. Dorothy was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, an excellent cook, a member of the Orleans County Master Gardener Organization and loved to take care of her grandchildren. Mrs. Lombardi was predeceased by a nephew: Scott Heidemann. She is survived by her son: Marc Lombardi of Kent, her daughter: Gina(Christopher Johnson)Lombardi of TX, brother: George(Kathy)Heidemann of Kent, 4 grandchildren: Justin, Katie, Lucas, Mirabel, 1 Nephew: Todd Heidemann, 1 Niece-in-law: Lisa Heidemann, 2 great nephews: Spencer and Reed Heidemann and the father of her children: Gerald A. Lombardi. There were no prior calling hours and private interment services were held in West Kendall Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Dorothy are invite to make a donation to the Orleans County Cooperative Extension Services Master Gardener Group.
