Dorothy B. Neal

Obituary of Dorothy B. Neal Albion: Dorothy B. “Dot” Neal, age 86, passed away with her family and Rev. Susan Boring by her side on January 25, 2020 at the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence. She was born July 15, 1933 in the Town of Gaines to the late Samuel and Lena “Madge” (Hibbard) Browne. Dot was an active member with the Home Bureau, The Eagle Harbor United Methodist Church and the Albion First Baptist Church. She took many trips all over with her close friend Phyllis and went to theaters with her sister-in-law Jeannie. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert “Bert” in 1993, son, Dan in 2009, granddaughter, Lisa in 2013, great-grandson, Leon Sidari in 2017, sister, Geraldine Rogers and her husband Roland. Dot is survived by her children, Richard (Margaret), Dean (Karen), David (Tammy), Lori (Mitch) Murek, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren plus one on the way, daughter-in-law, Sue Neal, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Monday, January 27th from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00pm where her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Dot’s name may be made to Hospice of Orleans P.O. Box 489 Albion, NY 14411.
