Duane F. "Jim" Criswell, age 79, of Archbald Road, formerly of Lockport, died unexpectedly February 7, 2007 in Medina Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lockport January 2, 1928 to James W. and Ruth(Haak)Criswell and had lived in this area for many years. Jim served in the United States Merchant Marines, and was an avid boater and wood worker. He owned and operated J.W. Criswell Mechanical Contracting for over 40 years. After retiring from the Plumbing Industry, Jim owned and operated Lizzie's Landing Motel and Tackle Shop retiring in 1998.
