Obituary of Dudley A. Mathes (Clarendon)
Dudley A. Mathes, age 88 of East Lee Road, died 3/6/09 in The Villages of Orleans following a short illness. He was born May 17, 1920 in Lyons, NY to Roy and Rose(Dudley)Mathes and had lived in this area most of his life. Mr. Mathes was a US Navy Veteran of WWII, a member of the Holley 1st Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Barre Grange, the NYABC Board, the Oak Orchard Yacht Club, the Holley School Board, and the Town of Clarendon Planning Board as well as being active in the 4H program for many years. Dudley assisted with the Boy Scout Troup 24 of Holley for many years and in his spare time, found great enjoyment in woodworking.
