Obituary of Earl W. Parker (ALBION)
Earl W. "Yogi" Parker, age 70 of Gaines Basin Road, died 11/19/2012 in Strong Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was born 5/18/1942 in Albion to Clyde and Grace(Marshall)Parker and had lived in this area his entire lifetime. Yogi was an employee of Eastman Kodak Company retiring after 32 years. He enjoyed working, golfing, and bowling but treasured spending time with his family…especially his grandchildren who he adored and were the light of his life. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Peggy, his son: Mark(Rhonda)Parker of Albion, his daughter: Anita(Todd)Finley of Albion, brothers: Dan(Dawn)Parker of Albion, Fred(Donna)Parker of Brockport, David Parker of Clarendon, Ned(Valerie)Parker of Webster, sister: Alice(George)VanDerstow of Hamlin, grandchildren: Charlotte, Noah, and Wesley Parker, Jack Finley, several nieces and nephews as well as special friends: Chuck Hughson, Maurice Hoag and the gang at Tim Horton's. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hoag Library or a charity of your choice. Visitation
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, SATURDAY 12/1/12 from 12-1 Services
Funeral Service will be held following visitation at 1pm Interment
