Obituary of Edith E. Babbitt (CARLTON)
Edith E. "Betty" Babbitt, age 96 formerly of Waterport Road and Northwood Drive, died 10/19/2013 in Lakeside Beikirch Care Center following a long illness. She was born 6/21/1917 in Watertown to Wilbur and Lois(Babcock)Wager and had lived in this area since 1985. Betty was a former member of the Watertown Baptist Church and had worked for several years as a clerk for Dewitt Cleaners in Dewitt, NY. Mrs. Babbitt was predeceased by her husband; Jaycee "Buster" Babbitt and 1 sister. She is survived by a niece: Bonnie Kaniecki of Albion and a nephew: Jim(Pat)Butts of Hilton. There will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service and Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans. Arrangements were made by Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Albion. Visitation
