Obituary of Edna A. Goodnick Edna A. Goodnick of Middleport passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Medina Memorial Healthcare Facility.
Mrs. Goodnick was born in the Town of Royalton on March 4, 1915 daughter of the late Frederick and Lottie (Tiefel) Schultz and she has lived in Middleport most of her life.
She was employed at Harrison Radiator Division.
Mrs. Goodnick enjoyed her family, fishing, crocheting, being a seamstress and making wedding gowns.
She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medina.
She was predeceased by her husband John H. Goodnick in 2001 and two brothers LaVerne Schultz and Alfred Schultz and sisters-in-law Ruth Schultz and Thelma Schultz.
She is survived by a daughter Barbara (Robert) Boyce of Tennessee and a son Doulgas (Kathleen) Goodnick of Niagara Falls, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a sister Elmer (Emily) Schultz of Middleport and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport, NY.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, West Avenue., Medina with the Rev. Josh McGuffie officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby, NY.
