Edna M. Macek Kayner

Obituary of Edna M. Macek Kayner Edna M. Kayner (Macek) age 81, formerly of Gasport, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Hildabrandt Hospice in Rochester. Born December 24, 1931 in Corfu, Edna is the daughter of the late Steven and Suzanne (Plache) Macek. Edna married Richard M. Kayner June 24, 1950 at Newfane United Methodist Church. Mr. Kayner died October 4, 2007. She had worked at FMC in Middleport as a secretary. Edna had lived in the Rochester area for the past 5 years, previously of Gasport. Surviving Edna are her children: Reverend Richard (Reverend Mary) Kayner of West, Texas and Linda Lea (Brian) Mix of Churchville, NY. Grandmother of: Jennifer (James) Honan, Christina (Mark) Frederick, Timothy (Jehan) Kayner and Jessica Mix. Sister of: Dorothy Bye of Newfane and Edward Macek of Newfane. Many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive Edna. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Friday from 6 – 8 pm. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:00 am from North Ridge Cemetery, 4169 Church Road, Lockport, NY.
