Obituary of Edward Jablonski Albion: Edward J. Jablonski age 89, died January 10, 2015 at Medina Memorial Hospital. He was born August 29, 1925 in Albion, a son of the late Frank and Mary (Kappela) Jablonski. Ed had lived in this area all his life and was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church, V.F.W., and St. Mary's Athletic Club. Ed served his country in the U.S. Navy in WWII and Korea. He retired from Eastman Kodak and Sylvania. Ed enjoyed taking care of and spending time with his adopted family.
He was predeceased by his special friend, Bonnie Adduci; siblings, Gertrude Francis, Frank Jablonski, Celia Sledzinski, Isabelle Marcinowski, Art Jablonski and Eleanor Albanese.
He is survived by his sister, Marion Gifaldi of Holley; sister-in-law, Helen Jablonski of Fayetville, Arkansas; jaja to his adopted family, Amy, Gregory, Lauren, Anthony and William Freeman, Marc Adduci, Connie Ferris; several nieces and nephews.
Ed's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church, Saturday 1/17/15 at 10:00am, followed by Military Honors. Spring interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion NY 14411. Services
