Obituary of Edward A. Lein (ELMA)
Edward A. Lein, age 89, died March 5, 2020 in The Villages of Orleans following a long illness. He was born October 24, 1930 in Buffalo, the son of Franklin and Lydia (Schroeder) Lein and had lived most of his life in Elma. Edward was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and following his service, he and his Father owned and operated Elma Nurseries for many years. In addition, he worked as the head janitor at the Wales Elementary School. Edward enjoyed football, especially watching the Buffalo Bills. He also enjoyed Country Music, bowling and loved animals, especially his dogs. Mr. Lein was predeceased by his wife Grace. He is survived by his daughters: Nancy Reigraf of Cheektowaga, Annette (Beth Mundschenk) Lein of Rochester, his sister: Vera Sachs of Shrewsbury, PA and his granddaughter: Heather Uplinger. There will be no prior calling hours. Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 6215 Sheridan Dr., #100, Buffalo, NY, 14221.
