Edward H. Meyer

Edward H. Meyer age 73 passed away May 21, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital.  He was born November 22, 1948 in Rochester and had lived in this area most of his life.

Ed drove school bus for many years.  He was a member of Brighton, Carlton and Kendall Fire Department and after he couldn’t volunteer, he loved to listen to the scanner to know what was going on.  Ed was a tinkerer, fixing vehicles and things around the house.  He loved fishing especially with his grandson.

He was predeceased by his wife Judith Meyer.

Ed is survived by his daughters Heather Summers and Bethany Meyer; 7 grandchildren Sage, Natalia, Kayla, Odessa, Alliya, Erin, Mickhale; a great-granddaughter Everly on the way; sister Edna VanAuken as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorials may be made to any local Fire Department.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Holley.
