Obituary of Edward L. Stymus Albion: Edward L. “Grandpa” “Pops” Stymus, age 86, passed away September 2, 2021 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. He was born March 9, 1935 in Barre to the late Albert and Berladine (Draper) Stymus. Grandpa enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially farming. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Esther in 2012, daughter, Arlene Dunn, siblings, Gordon, Floyd, Gladys Drought, Eleanor Krowl, Velma Wood Grandpa is survived by his son, Dennis (Suzanne) Stymus, grandchildren, Cody (Jessica), Trever, Ryan, Brianne, Cameo, great-grandchildren, Parker and Caison, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services for Grandpa will be held privately and at the family’s convenience. Memorial contributions in Grandpa’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
