Edwin H. "Ed" Purvee

Obituary of Edwin "Ed" H. Purvee HOLLEY: Ed H. Purvee age 88, died September 8, 2016 at his home.
Ed was born November 16, 1927 in Kendall, NY a son of the late Edwin D. and Mary (King) Purvee. Ed lived in this area all of his life and was a member of the Morton Baptist Church and a former employee of General Electric in Brockport. Ed loved hunting and fishing, but with a can of WD40 and a Craftsman wrench, he could fix anything.
He was predeceased by his son, Michael in 1979. Ed is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan Purvee; children, Melanie Purvee of Colorado, Debbie Parsons of Rochester, Karen (Eric) Bradshaw of Clarendon, David (Traci) Purvee of Waterport; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to Ed’s Memorial Service at the Morton Baptist Church, 1152 County Line Rd. Hamlin, NY 14464, Monday September 12, at 4:00pm. Private interment in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion NY 14411 or the Morton Baptist Church.
