Elaine M. Gay, age 53 of Ridge Road, died suddenly 8/2/2016 at her residence. She was born 7/14/1963 in Brockport to Harry and Maryann (Hays) Verhagen and was a lifetime resident of this area. Elaine had many interests however she very much enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies. Ms. Gay was predeceased by her brother Steven Verhagen. She is survived by her children: Melissa (Ben Metcalf) Gay of Albion, Jonathan Gay of Albion, Brianna Gay of Albion, her brothers: Bruce Verhagen and James Verhagen both of PA, her sisters: Diane (Henry) Ettinger of Holley, Mary Verhagen of Kent, Sherry (Bobby) Allen of TX, Annie (James) Denning of Holley, 2 grandchildren: Peter and Sebastian Stritzinger, and the father of her children: John Gay of Albion. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Route 31-Holley,MONDAY from 2-3 p.m. where her Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. following visitation. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
