Obituary of Eleanor M. Cedar (Albion) Eleanor M. Cedar age 98, who was a very gentle woman, went to be with the Lord May 9, 2021. She was born September 15, 1922 in Troy, PA, a daughter of the late Sylvester R. and Gertrude (Lee) Say and had lived in this area most of her life. Eleanor was a member of Gaines Carlton Community Church and was the secretary of Jericho Fellowship Church. She loved the Lord and lived by the bible. She worked at Rochester Products for 28 years retiring in 1981. She enjoyed making dolls and crocheting; especially afghans that she made and gave away. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford E. Cedar in 2012whom she married November 25, 1940; her daughter Eloise Elizabeth Webster; 5 brothers and her sister. She is survived by her daughters Darleen (Jimmy) Wright, Laurena (the late Cleve) LaFoy; her son Clifford B. (Judy) Cedar; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; special loving friend, Bonnie Peters. She was loved by all that knew her. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Wednesday May 12th 11:00am-1:00pm. Her Graveside Service will be in N. Byron Cemetery following her calling hours. Memorials may be made to the Gaines Carlton Community Church, 14585 Ridge Rd., Albion NY 14411.
