Obituary of Eleanor S. Drago (ALBION)
Eleanor S. Drago, formerly of Albion, died 10/22/2016 in the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center following a long illness. She was born 6/12/1925 in Rochester to Steve and Agnes(Mack)Sadlowski and had been a lifetime resident of this area. Eleanor was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member of the CSEA and spent 23 years as the Director of the Orleans County Department of Motor Vehicles. Eleanor was a hard working women with a tremendous drive to take care of her family. She had a great love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Drago was predeceased by her husband: Joseph C. Drago, her parents: Steve and Agnes Sadlowski, brother: William Sadlowski, sister: Irene Smith and grandson: David Drago. She is survived by her daughter: Jacqueline Fraser of Spencerport, David(Amy)Drago of FL, Robert(Sheryl)Drago of GA, grandchildren: Timothy(Leslie)Quinn, Matthew(Sarah)Quinn, Rob and Joe Drago, and Sarah(Jimmy)Sessions, great-grandchildren: Emma, Steven and Joseph Quinn, and Haylee and Emma Sessions as well as several nieces and nephews. There are no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Service at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, TUESDAY 9:30am followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church at 10am. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY, 14626.
