Eleanor R. Klatt

Obituary of Eleanor R. Klatt Gaines: Eleanor R. Klatt, 87, died October 8, 2014 at Unity Hospital. She was born February 7, 1927 in Elba, NY. A daughter of the late Ervin and Rhoda (Brown) Allen. Eleanor was a member of the Gaines Carlton Community Church and the Sheret Post #35 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former employee of Fisher Price in Medina. Eleanor loved farming and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur R. Klatt in 1989. She is survived her children, Ronald A. (Lois) Klatt of FL., Richard A. (Kathy) Klatt of Gasport, Robert A. Klatt of NC., Randall A. (Jane) Klatt of Rochester, Roxanne E. (Daniel) Worsech of Gaines, Royce A. (Julie) Klatt of Gaines, Ryan E. (Patricia) Klatt of Holley, Roger J. (Kristen) Klatt of Barker, Reynold J. (Jean) Klatt of Gaines; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy E. Ergott of Waterport, Shirley Beecher of Eagle Harbor; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave, Albion, Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00. Eleanor's Funeral Service will be held at the Gaines Carlton community Church 14585 Ridge Rd. Albion, Monday at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Bates Road Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. or the American Heart Assoc. Visitation
