Eleanor M. Kriss

Obituary of Eleanor M. Kriss Eleanor M. Kriss, 89, passed away peacefully Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Villages of Orleans, in Albion, New York. Eleanor was born in Rochester, New York to the late Wendell C. and Mildred McGuire Haines. Her husband John and daughter Janet, her brother Paul R. Haines and sister, Dorothy L. Campbell, preceded her in death. She graduated from Albion High School at a young age and went on to Ohio University where she met her husband John and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business. Eleanor work for several years at the Western Reformatory for Women in Albion before joining her husband and brother Paul at Albion Agencies where she worked until retiring. In her later years, Eleanor took great pleasure in playing cards with her friends, especially playing bridge. She also enjoyed the company of her cats, Oscar, Barney and Bessie. She was an avid sports fan.
