Obituary of Eleanor C. Williams Eleanor C. Williams age 94 died May 30, 2018 at the Martin Linsin Residence following a short illness. She was born April 9, 1924 in Albion, a daughter of the late Thomas and Charlotte (Smith) Coffey and had lived in this area all of her life. Eleanor was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, the Albion American Legion Sheret Post #35 Ladies Auxiliary where she served as Past President. She had worked for many years as a secretary at the Albion High School. She was an avid golfer and reader and loved spending time with her family. Eleanor was a generous, giving, and passionate person who loved to help others at any given time. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband DeForest “Dee” in 2002; her brothers Thomas George, Robert, John and Donald; her sister Patricia Dunham. She is survived by her daughters Barbara (Ed) Jarvis of Cape Cod, Susan Cummings of Albion, Karen (Don) Colquhoun of Medina; 6 grandchildren Ryan and Matthew Jarvis, Christopher (Joan) Cummings, Amy (Mark) Luft, Jennifer Berman, Daniel (Janelle) Colquhoun; 4 great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Nicholas Luft, Alison and Nate Berman as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Sunday June 3rd from 1:00pm-4:00pm where prayers will be said on Monday at 9:30am followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church at 10:00am.
