Obituary of Elizabeth J. Harriman (Albion) Elizabeth J. Harriman age 88, died 8/29/2012 at The Villages of Orleans. She was born July 16, 1924 in Gardenville NY a daughter of the late August & Florence (Olsen) Birkmeyer and had lived in the Orleans County area over 50 years. Elizabeth had volunteered at the former Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital and the Orleans County Nursing Home (The Villages of Orleans). Her friends will remember her enjoyment of Bowling and her time with her Senior Citizen friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward M. Harriman in 1979. She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Joe) Grabowski of Barre; son, Gary (Sue) Harriman of Rochester, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 sister and nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O.Box 489, Albion NY 14411. Arrangements were made by Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Albion. Visitation
There will be no prior visitation. Services
Service will be held privately by the family at their convenience. Interment
Privately in Boxwood Cemetery, Medina, NY
