Obituary of Ellen F. Eibl (TUCSON,AZ/ALBION,NY) Ellen May (Forder) Eibl, age 83 of Heritage Estates, died suddenly due to complications with her illness on April 8, 2014 at her residence in Tucson, AZ. Ellen was born December 20, 1930 in Albion to Thomas and Edith (Gee) Forder. She graduated from Albion High School in 1949 and was a lifetime resident of this area. In 1958 she married John Eibl, Jr. at the Gaines Carlton Baptist Church and they enjoyed 43 years together. She was a member of the Albion First Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the Albion Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary as well as the Western NY Volunteer Fireman's Association Ladies Auxiliary. She retired after 25 years, ending her service as a Department Head at the Orleans County Department of Social Services. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband John in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her sister Connie, and her brothers Thomas, Ralph "Tub," and Frank. She is survived by her sons: David (Cindy) Eibl of Waterport, Andrew (Robyn) Eibl of Tucson, grandchildren Marcus and Micaela of Tucson as well as several nieces and nephews. She loved picnics, winter in Tucson, Sunday drives, and playing cards with her family and friends at Tucson East Apartments. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, WEDNESDAY, April 16, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend Ellen's Funeral Service THURSDAY, April 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Albion First Baptist Church.
