Obituary of Elsie (Sanderson) Oliver Elsie Sanderson Oliver age 86, of San Angelo, TX, formerly of Albion/Medina, went home to her Lord on July 2, 2017. She was born December 6, 1930 in Albion to the late Delbert and Winifred (Green) Sanderson. Elsie married her husband William Oliver on October 11, 1952. They made their home in Albion and later, Medina. Bill passed away in 2005. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Albion. After retiring from Kodak she filled her need to be busy by working at Gallo’s Men’s Shop. She enjoyed playing cards, crafting, bowling and traveling. Elsie loved helping others. She gave way more than she ever took in this life. Every challenge she met was taken in stride and handled with grace. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. They are all left with the gift of memories of their cherished Grandma (Oma) patiently and lovingly sharing her talents with them. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her “bonus parents” Clinton and Dorothy Culverwell, her brothers Harold and Richard Sanderson, her nephew Richard Sanderson, Jr. Elsie is survived by her sons William (Michelle) Oliver of Medina, Robert (Stephanie) Oliver of San Angelo, TX; Five grandchildren Alissa (Joel) Bruce, Lyndsey (Travis) Oliver-Farewell both of Medina, Aaron Oliver, Brandon (Erin) Oliver both of San Angelo and Caron Oliver of Dallas; five great-grandchildren, Elaina and Sydney Bruce, Kendall Oliver-Farewell all of Medina, Aiden Oliver, Nathanial Oliver of San Angelo; her sister, Dorothy Barrancotta of Lockport; several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O.
