Obituary of Emily Ann Schultz . Emily Ann Schultz of Middleport passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Medina, NY. Mrs. Schultz was born in the Town of Royalton on August 9, 1925 daughter of the late John and Esther (Kraatz) Schilling and she has lived in the Middleport area all of her life. She and her husband Elmer G. Schultz were married October 31, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Medina. She was a cafeteria worker employed by Royalton-Hartland Central School. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she made all the banners for the church and she volunteered at the Medina Hospital office for 14 years. Mrs. Schultz enjoyed her family and she also enjoyed making patchwork quilts. She is survived by her husband Elmer G. Schultz, three daughters Donna (Dennis) Besco of Gasport, Judith Schultz of Barker and Nina (Patrick) Smith of Naples, NY., four grandchildren Jennifer Branch and Jason Besco both of Gasport, Colleen (Jon) Betrus of Naples, NY and Justin Smith of Luxembourg. Also surviving are six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service to be held Monday, at 11:00 AM at Royalton Mt. Ridge Cemetery with Vicar Richard Wolf officiating. Memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the Schultz family.
