Obituary of Eric D. Erway Eric D. Erway, age 54, died November 8, 2017 at home under the care of Hospice of South Georgia after an extended illness. He was born November 24, 1962 to Donald Erway and Linda (VanAuker) Brien. Eric was an Albion High School Graduate, and spent the last 25 years of his life in Southeast Georgia. He was a construction worker by trade and enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. His sister, Kimberly Erway preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Erway of Southeast Georgia, his mother, Linda Brien of Albion, his step-father, Richard Brien of Albion, his father, Donald Erway of Washington, his sister, Robin (Erway) Moore of Greece, his brothers, Bert Erway of Waterport, and Troy Erway of Florida, his step-brothers, Dick Brien of Michigan, Tim Brien of Albion and Wally Brien of Lyndonville, his nieces, Kimberly Welday of Fairport, Kaeyla Erway of Fairport, Nicole Cavadias of South Carolina, his nephews, Kyle Erway of Fairport and Brandon Erway, three step-children, Ashley and Adam Gay and Amelia Foskey of Georgia, and grandchildren, Maisie, Kimsie, Blake, Railey, Madyson and Ryan of Georgia, several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes Inc., 21 West Ave. Albion, NY on Saturday November 25th from 4:00-7:00pm. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any ALS fund of your choice.
