Erma L. Weese

Obituary of Erma L. Weese (WATERPORT) Erma L. Weese, age 73, died May 16, 2019 in Rochester General Hospital following a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 10, 1946 in Indore, West Virginia to Omer and Edna (White) Brown and had lived in this area since 1969. Erma was a terrific cook and was famous for her biscuits. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and cooking for people whenever they would stop by the house. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune as well as collecting elephant figurines, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren…especially watching them play baseball and football. Mrs. Weese was predeceased by her son: Robert Wayne Fugate, her granddaughters: Sarah Laubacher and Tiara Fugate and brothers: Roger, Rick and Darryl Brown. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Dencil, her children: Joyce Allport of Barre, Omer (Tammy Coville) Fugate of Pt. Breeze, Timmy Fugate of Albion, Ray (Sherri) Weese of Albion, Betsy (Mike) Bennett of Lyndonville, her brothers: James (Dianna) Brown of OH, Michael (Barbara) Brown of Medina, her sisters: Doris (Rich Jones) DeBoard of Waterport, Libby Cochran of West Virginia, 13 grandchildren: Billy & Jessica Allport, Tiffany, Omer Lee and Rebecca Fugate, Christina Treadway, Daniel & Corey Slaughter, Chaz Weese, Travis & Shayne Atwell, 15 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave.-Albion, FRIDAY May 24th from 5-8 p.m. where a Time to Share Memories will be held at 8 p.m. following visitation. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
