Obituary of Evelyn C. Fitzgerald (WATERPORT)
Evelyn C. Fitzgerald, age 76 of Lakeside Bluff, died 2/6/2013 in Lakeside Memorial Hospital. She was born 2/11/1936 in Easton, PA to Benjamin and Rachael(Gibson)Everitt and had lived in this area since 1996. Evelyn attended the Albion First Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Oak Orchard Yacht Club and the Power Squadron. Mrs. Fitzgerald worked as a Nurse Practitioner and retired from the Buffalo VA Medical Center for many years. Evelyn will be remembered for loving everybody, the Cottage, the waters of Lake Ontario and as a very generous person. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Walter Fitzgerald Jr., her sons: Walter "Chip" (Eileen)Fitzgerald of MI, Shawn(Linda)Fitzgerald of Murray, sister: Ann Renfrew of CA, 3 grandchildren: Krista, Kurt, Connor, as well as several nieces and nephews. There are no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Evelyn's Memorial Service at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Avenue-Albion, SATURDAY MARCH 9th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the ARC of Orleans or the Arthritis Foundation.
